Abigail’s a week old today. What a week it has been! We’ve been blessed with such caring nurses and doctors that we’ll never know how to thank them.
Abby’s looking better. Her fever went away and her bellybutton is healing from an infection. It looks like the antibiotics are working.
She’s now addicted to her pacifier. Oh well, she’s had enough problems so we let her have one to suck on. She’s getting smart too. She’s discovered that she can use her hands to pull on things, like the tubes in her nose.
Each day we spend with her is precious and heartbreaking. We pray so much to be able to take her home soon. Soon.
